FertigHy is a pioneering Pan-European company established by a consortium of leading entities including EIT InnoEnergy, RIC Energy, MAIRE, Siemens Financial Services, InVivo, and HEINEKEN. Our mission is to spearhead the low-carbon transformation of the European fertilizer industry. In response to the challenges posed by supply chain disruptions and global uncertainties in natural gas supply, FertigHy is dedicated to producing affordable and sustainable fertilizers for European farmers.

    Plant in France

    In our first year, we reached a significant milestone by selecting the site for our inaugural low-carbon fertilizer plant in France. This site will serve as the blueprint for our expansion across Europe, setting a high standard for sustainability and operational excellence in the fertilizer industry.

    Construction of our first plant

    The construction of our first plant is slated to commence in 2027. This state-of-the-art facility will be designed to produce 500,000 metric tonnes per year of low-carbon nitrogen-based fertilizers. Our approach focuses on integrating advanced technologies and low-carbon energy sources to minimize environmental impact and enhance efficiency.

    Towards sustainable agriculture.

    By 2030, we plan to commence operations at our flagship plant in France. This plant will not only meet the immediate needs of European farmers but also serve as a model for future projects. Our goal is to replicate this success across other European countries, scaling our impact and supporting a broader shift towards sustainable agriculture.
